Reese Witherspoon learns TikTok dance moves with son’s help
Mom Reese Witherspoon satisfied her curiosity “for all moms out there,” asking her 15-year-old son Deacon Phillippe what every parent wants to know:
What is the world is TikTok?
The savvy social media user took it a step further and enlisted his help in creating a video for the social media app, which he described as a “short-form video platform.”
“Deacon, this is very important. I’ve brought you here because I have questions for you,” she said in the video posted on Instagram before asking him the question, “What is TikTok?”
“Oh God,” Deacon said, smiling.
The “Big Little Lies” star knows sometimes it takes more than one take so she worked on a host of dance moves as her reluctant son looked on.

Witherspoon, 43, asked her son about her dance moves, “Like that?”
“No, not like that,” he said, later claiming, “this is so embarrassing.”
Witherspoon worked hard with hilarious results until the two settled on a TikTok debut. She captioned her Instagram video, “@deaconphillippe tries to teach me how to Tik Tok, and she added a crying with laughter emoji. “I think I nailed it…”

The Oscar-winning actress is also mom to daughter Ava, 19, and son Tennessee, 6, and is no stranger to social apps preferred by youth.
Earlier this summer, Witherspoon demonstrated how to talk to your kids on Snapchat.
She told Conan O’Brien in 2017 she likes to communicate with her kids on Snapchat.
“I talk to them on the devices they use because they’re on social media all the time,” she said.
